Packington Free Range Pork is a local, differentiated, branded product. It is a totally free range pork which is outdoor bred, reared and finished in the field. It is locally produced and processed in the traditional manner giving you excellent eating quality, healthy and consistent free range pork.

At Packington they aim to rear pigs in a natural, stress-free environment that has the right qualities to produce excellent free range pork. They aim for a slightly greater fat covering which enhances the fantastic flavour of the pork, all the more improved by the beneficial environment. The RSPCA were so impressed by the environment provided for our pigs that they accredited us with a Freedom Food certification mark.
Unlike other free range farms they don't take their pigs indoors to "finish" them. This usually involves taking the young pigs indoors to fatten them up and prepare them for market. We don't follow this process! Our pigs live outdoors for the whole of their lives. As Nature Intended, giving you fresher, more authentic free range pork.
They pride themselves on rearing pigs naturally and therefore, do not give any additives, growth promoters or antibiotics at any stage of the pig's life. There aren't many pig farms that can genuinely make this claim; there're one of the few.
Our traditional butchers supplies and produces the finest quality meats and meat based products, many of these products are created within our own premises utilising traditional techniques and practices which ensure the generation of premium quality produce.
